Melinda Fowler is a 5' 11'' sophomore from Jamestown, Missouri. She graduated from
Jamestwon High School in 1999. This is Melinda's first year playing with the Lady
Colonials. She is currently studying Biology and plans to continue with her schooling
when she graduates from Southampton College. After graduate school Melinda intends
to do research in her field.
When I asked Melinda who inspired her to play basketball, she said, "Dick Marshall,
who coached me in 4th, 5th, 6th grade, and summer basketball." Two accomplishments
that Melinda achieved in her high school career was scoring 1700 points and grabbing
1200 rebounds!
