Robin Owens is a 5'7" junior from Richmond, Virginia. She and her twin sister, Shannon, play basketball and softball for the lady colonials. Robin graduated from St. Gertrude High school in 1998 and is from a family of eight. She has two brothers and three sisters. Robin is currently studying marketing at Southampton's business department and has hopes to become a pharmacuetical sales representative one day.

When Robin was asked who inspired her to become a basketball player, she replied, "My dad and my brothers. I started out playing basketball because I wanted to do the things my brothers did." Some of Robin's accomplishments include being selected for the League of Independent Schools Team two times, All-State team, and attaining a scholarship to Southampton College in basketball and softball.
